Over the past few years, Aarhus, a small village in Denmark,
has been putting on some of the biggest reggae events in the country. They have
hosted the likes of Capleton and Beenie Man in the past and now they’re getting
ready for another Jamaican icon; Lt. Stitchie.
This Saturday, February 27th the Jam Link
International team, the company responsible for most of the major reggae events
in the city, will be hosting a huge concert called Reggae Link Up. The
headlining acts for the show are Jamaica’s legendary reggae/dancehall artist, Lt.
Stitchie and one of the biggest names in Denmark’s dancehall, Kaka. Both men
will be supported by some of Denmark’s most talented artists, namely: Lappa
Luma, Mwakenya and Pearl. The event will take place at one of the city’s major
concert venues, Voxhall (located at Vester Allé 15, 8000 Aarhus). For more
information on this event, persons may visit its facebook page via the

Shortly after the Lt. Stitchie concert, Aarhus will see
another legend passing through, as Lee Scratch Perry is set to perform at the
same venue on April 12th. Additionally, Aarhus had their first two
day reggae festival last year and will be having it again this year.
