After cutting his locks and recording some calypso songs
(about women), Khalfani and his
management team have been dealing with troubling feedback from some of his fans.
The general concern seems to be that he has stepped away from Rastafari and is
now living a secular lifestyle. In an attempt to reassure his supporters, Khalfani released the official video
for his single “Rastafari” a few days ago.
In the video he shows his physical transition from locks to being
trimmed while simultaneously indicating that he remains very much committed to
the Rastafari faith.
