Major Jamaican Networks Refusing To Play The Video For ‘Fake Rasta’ Due To Its Content

A few TV stations in Jamaica are refusing to add Karamanti’s video for the song ‘Fake Rasta’ into rotation unless changes are made. Their concern lies with the word OBEAH which is used in verse two on the track. Although the word is not considered a curse word many gate keepers to the various networks have made it clear that they are not comfortable putting the video on air and have gone as far as to advice Karamanti to edit out the word and resubmit the video.

Per the request of the artist, Ramon Lindsay, the video editor has made the necessary changes and so the video will be resent to all Jamaican networks.
