Jim Kelly, the
man who is partially responsible for the success now being enjoyed by Dancehall
artist Kalado has been getting alot of attention since the release of his
single 'Nuh Trust Nobody.' The song
which came out only a few days ago is already in heavy rotation at most of the
major parties and street dances in Jamaica. As the title implies, 'Nuh Trust Nobody' is what members of
the Dancehall community refer to as a bad mind song. Although these types of
songs are very common, this particular track stands out because of its catchy
hook and humorous presentation.
'Nuh Trust Nobody'
is written and performed by Jim Kelly
and new comer Bastic. It was produced by Real Linkx Records (which is owned by
Jim Kelly and Dwain Robinson aka Dubsy) and mixed by Red Boom from Hard at Work
Music.
After producing for, and managing Kalado, Jim decided to
focus his attention on himself and as such he began recording. Though he has
done other songs prior to 'Nuh Trust
Nobody,' this is undeniably his biggest track to date. Not only is it
getting good spins in the streets but some radio stations have begun to feature
it; as a result he has done a few radio interviews with more being added to his
schedule daily.
