Lady Donna Returns To Jamaica To Complete EP And Promote Riddims

Poet and artist Lady Donna is back in Jamaica. She arrived on the island a few days ago and has already began a massive street campaign, which involves the promotion of recent releases from her Osujah Records label. The company released the Bummin Ball Riddim last September and the Marley Riddim at the end of 2015. Both rhythms have been getting favorable radio rotation particularly in Jamaica.

Last Thursday she stopped by Chezidek’s Rub A Dub Camp (an open mic jam session for artists) which was held at Marcus Garvey Lawn in St. Ann. Lady Donna is hoping to get the songs played at night clubs, street dances and community events, hence the major road campaign. In addition to generating more rotations in the street, she also plans on shooting the medley video for the Bummin Ball Riddim and have it ready for T.V. before she leaves for Virginia in approximately three weeks.

Separate and apart from the promotion of the Bummin Ball and Marley Riddim, Lady Donna is also expected to complete and release EPs for several artists signed to her Osujah label: Buss Weh, Anaicon, Ras Pree Dem, Ikonji and I Nanny.
