MONEY GREEN/FRENZ FOR REAL DROPS ANOTHER BOMB!

At the beginning of 2011 Money Green and Frenz For Real (two separate record labels working on several collaborative projects) made it clear that their intention was to set themselves apart from other labels this year. With the release of their new rhythm driven album entitled “Raid Riddim”, it can be said that they have done just that.

Raid Riddim has nineteen tracks, all of which are hit singles; this according to dancehall critiques who have heard the entire album. Raid is very dark and a few tracks have explicit content, but every flow and delivery on this album is top shelf. The two leading singles (“pressure” by Smokie Benz and “rum inna it” by Propally), which were released weeks ahead of the album, have been getting good rotation since they hit the airways.

Some critiques have said it’s the best they have heard Turbulence on a dancehall rhythm in a while. And the depth in Bentley and Karamanti’s songs are breath taking. Additionally, they have said that this rhythm will be the one to propel the career of newcomer Propally, who has three songs on the album. That being said, if you are not an avid dancehall lover, you may find the Raid Riddim too aggressive for you.
