Jamaican Reggae Gospel singer Breezy Mckenley who has
developed a following by doing gospel remakes of secular hits, has once again
released a single that is getting much attention. He recently did a cover
version of Prince Buster’s 1960’s hit, “they got to go”.
The song, which is called “we’ve got to love everyone”, was
recorded approximately three months ago at Boris Gardiner studio in Jamaica.
When asked why he chose to do the track, Breezy’s response was simply “I am the
tribute man, this is what I do”.
Breezy Mckenley has done tribute songs and in some cases
albums to Michael Jackson, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Fats Domino and that is
just to name a few.
