James Parker, known in the streets of Jamaica as DJ SIGAR, is currently, one of, if not
the hottest MC on the island. In addition to being an actual disc jockey, SIGAR also works as a hype man and
master of ceremony for some of the biggest events in the country.
Every Monday night, DJ
SIGAR host Uptown Mondays in Savannah Plaza (Kingston 5) alongside Boom
Boom and others. Tuesdays he is at Boasy Tuesdays on Balmoral Ave in Kingston. Wednesdays
he does Wet Wednesdays at Caymanas Bay in St. Catharine, and on Thursdays he
plays at Bembe in New Kingston. In addition to all the aforementioned, DJ SIGAR is also the main MC at the
Digicel High School Competition happening every Friday (78 Constant Spring Road).
