On Friday, February 28th, Disc Jock Redeem
will be hosting an event he calls A
Positive Vibe. This is an
opportunity for performers, supporters and promoters of positive music to
gather and network so as to put conscious music back on the forefront.
Attendees will include radio personalities, artists,
promoters, producers etc. Some of the topics to be discussed are; measures to
be taken to see more wholesome music videos on television (both cable and
basic), how to get more radio rotation for conscious music and how like minded
individuals can work together and support each other.
The event will be held at Drinkers Paradise (shop #12
upstairs Mystix Plaza) at 78 ¾ Hagley Park Road Kingston 10. The gathering starts
at 9pm sharp and everyone is being asked to come out early. There will also be
live performances.
