Young Jamaican producer and Black & Yellow executive,
Sheldon “Shel-K” Williams has signed a deal with Wray and Nephew (the number
one rum company in the Caribbean). Although Shel-K have been working with Wray
and Nephew for the past two and a half years, this contract expands their
relationship and also makes him one of the official faces of the company with
ads appearing on TV, in print media and on major billboards right across the
Caribbean. Shel-K is the first Reggae/Dancehall producer to get such a deal
from a liquor company.
For those not familiar with Shel-K, he is responsible for the
production of hits like Embrace it (Orisha Sound ft. Sizzla), Kingston Riddim,
World War Three (Orisha Sound ft. Beenie Man), Gyptian Music, Life Machine by
Droop Lion, Can't get enough by Anthony Que and many more. He is also part
owner of Black and Yellow Entertainment, a professional recording and rehearsal
studio located on Lady Musgrave Road in New Kingston, Jamaica and a recording
artist in his own right.
In addition to fulfilling his obligations with Wray and
Nephew, Shel-K is also working on a new single for himself as well as a Reggae/Dancehall album for Orisha Sound with Clive Hunt from VP Records.
