Canadian hip-hop artist, Uzman collaborated with Jamaica’s Junior “One Blood” Reid
for the remix of his single “wine and
grind” which is available on Uzman's
EP "Club Focused - The Remix Edition". Though the song was originally
recorded and released a few years ago Uzman
only recently got the opportunity to do the remix. DJ Power, who is responsible for remixing one
of Junior Reid’s biggest songs, “this is why I’m hot”, connected Uzman with Reid for both the audio and video remix of “wine and grind”.
The video was shot and edited in Toronto (by Media Kings/FTM)
in May 2014 while Reid was in town
for a concert. It was premiered on Community Link Star TV (CLS-TV) in Old
Harbour, St Catherine (Jamaica) on Thursday the 8th of January 2015 and has been
in regular rotation since. The video is now being distributed to all networks
locally and internationally.
