Yasus Afari ‘Roots Reggae & Dub’ 2015 tour which was
initially slated for March 29th through April 29th has
now been extended to mid May. Affectionately known as "THE RASTA GURU”,
Yasus Afari who is now in Europe (specifically Scandinavia) will be very busy
as he is expected to appear and participate in a poetry festival, literature
sessions, lectures in schools, perform in clubs and even speak at some church events.
The Rasta Guru is in high demand because he wears several
professional hats. He is an Author, Philosopher and world renowned Dub Poet.
Yasus is also an inspirational and motivational speaker, using music and
performance poetry to color and express his messages.
Being a veteran Roots
Reggae Musician and 'edutainer' with nothing less than 8 Reggae Albums under
his belt, he has worked and toured with several well established and recognized
Jamaican artists and bands; Garnett Silk, Toots and the Maytals, Benjamin
Zephaniah, Beres Hammond, Freddy Mc Gregor, Luciano, Everton Blender and Black
Uhuru
