Many people in the Tri-State, USA area are familiar with
ex-gang member and street artist, Deadly
Dread. He is a Jamaican rapper who grew up in New York City, got involved
in gangs, drugs and music and got deported back to Jamaica some years ago.
Since being back on the island, Deadly
has gone through a massive transformation. He no longer affiliates himself with
his former gang, nor does he deal in narcotics of any kind. His only commitment
at this time is to his music and his career as a recording artist.
Deadly recently
recorded a single entitled “real bad man
law” and he is hoping that people who knew him from before can appreciate
that his lyrical content is just that, lyrics. He says that his words may give
the impression that he is still living the type of life he was before but that
is not the case. Persons can listen and download “real bad man law” here: http://www.hulkshare.com/n9rvbirgdc00
