Dub Poet and roots Reggae artist Lady Donna who resides in the U.S.A, is currently in Jamaica
shooting the video for her track ‘save a
life.’ The record which is a collaboration with long time artist and friend,
Alpancho, touches on the very
serious issue of drunk driving. In the song both artists warns pedestrians to
be mindful of irresponsible drivers; they also speak directly to the drivers encouraging
them to make wise decisions when they are behind the wheel.
The video for ‘save a
life’ was directed and shot by Maria Jackson Entertainment in Beverly, St.
Ann. A great deal of effort was placed on ensuring that the story in the video
is consistent with the message in the song. Persons may check out some behind
the scenes photos from the video shoot here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1038326152853201.1073741885.222824607736697

That’s a very good initiative by both of them and in my opinion, such videos should be encouraged and promoted. I have worked with a DUI attorney Los Angeles for a while and have seen closely drunk driving ruin lives. I believe awareness and tough laws are the only solution.
